Senior Logistics Coordinator

LHH is working with an international manufacturer that is seeking a Senior Logistics and Compliance Specialist to lead and optimize logistics operations, ensure full import/export compliance, and manage relationships third‑party logistics (3PL) providers.

Compensation up to $85k + benefits.

• Act as the primary liaison between internal teams and external 3PL providers to resolve shipment delays and documentation issues.
• Track and report on 3PL performance metrics, including delivery accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor and troubleshoot EDI transmissions, collaborating with IT and logistics teams to resolve errors.
• Lead cycle counting programs across external warehouse locations, ensuring inventory accuracy.
• Ensure accurate classification of goods using HTS codes and maintain up-to-date knowledge of international trade regulations.
• Liaise with customs brokers and freight forwarders to resolve compliance issues and facilitate customs clearance.
• Oversee compliance processes for bonded and Free Trade Zone (FTZ) warehouses.
• Support internal audits and external inspections related to logistics and trade compliance.
• Develop and maintain reporting on key logistics metrics.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior‑level logistics, supply chain, or trade compliance role.
• Must have advanced Excel – Vlookups & Pivot Tables – will be testing.
• Inventory and warehouse operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of import/export regulations, HTS classification, and international shipping documentation.
• Experience managing 3PL relationships and overseeing bonded/FTZ warehouse operations.
• Experience with EDI systems and warehouse management software.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
• Trade compliance or logistics certification (e.g., CCLP, CTCS, APICS) is a plus.
