Operations Coordinator

Job SummaryOversees field duties and schedules acid, treater, and delivery operations according to needs specified by manager and customers for assigned region(s). Provides leadership and guidance to pump truck operators, treater truck operators, and delivery drivers in assigned region(s).
Essential Duties – 60% in office, 40% in field- Field customer phone calls and dispatch team members
- Schedule pump truck and treater truck operators for daily job callouts
- Manage the fleet, treater, and acid maintenance programs
- Conduct weekly pressure testing
- Oversee monthly pump truck audits
- Maintain and organize fleet, shop, and parts inventories
- Track chemical usage/application and hose pressure testing
- Ensure job tickets are generated, accurate, and received in a timely manner
- Resolve issues on assigned job sites and with customers
- Travel to field locations to monitor jobs
- Ensure SDSs are up to date and current in binders
- Coordinate with HSE/DOT team to ensure fleet and crew are in compliance with safety and DOT regulations
- Provide strong leadership by providing excellent customer service to accounts
- Maintain regular communication with applicable team members (facilities, operations, production chemicals, etc.) regarding upcoming jobs and chemical inventory
- Assist technical team with RFPs
- Assist with leading weekly operations meetings
- Able to perform all duties of a Lead Driver and serves as back up for all operations drivers’ duties
- Support team members requests for parts, equipment, maintenance, and training
- Conduct year-end reviews for direct reports
- Attend Tech Academy and applicable learning opportunities
- Work well both independently and as a team
Education/Experience
:
High school graduate or GED and knowledge of chemicals, chemical pump trouble shooting and maintenance, and FMCSA/DOT driving regulations required. Operations management experience preferred.
Certifications/Licenses
:
Forklift certification preferred. CDL required.
Driving Requirements
:
Follow all FMCSA and DOT regulations, where applicable.
Lifts, pushes, pulls and carries up to 55 pounds chest high. Tips and moves 55-gallon drums, weighing up to 600 pounds with the use of equipment and/or vehicles. Must be able to reach, push, pull, and grasp with arms and hands. Will require daily standing, crouching and/or kneeling, sitting, walking, climbing, driving, and transitioning in/out of vehicles. Must be able to talk, hear and feel attributes of objects or temperatures by touching with the skin.
Required to have the visual acuity to operate motor vehicles safely and legally, close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Indoors and outdoors, with exposure to environmental conditions such as extreme winter weather, precipitation, and wind. Includes potential exposure to harmful chemicals, dust, odors, fumes, oil, and gases. Noise level is typically moderate, occasionally loud.
Financial SkillsUnderstands the financial implications of business decisions.
Language SkillsAbility to read, interpret, and understand documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manual. English language fluency in reading, writing, and speaking.
Communication SkillsEffective verbal and written communication skills as well as providing excellent customer service, both internally and externally. Ability to effectively train new hires and lead and mentor team members.
Computer SkillsEfficiently navigate a web browser, mobile applications, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Teams, Word, SharePoint, One Note, etc.), and electronic timesheets.
