Frontier Waste Solutions – Texas‑based waste solutions provider servicing residential, commercial, and municipal trash and recycling needs.

Driver operates a truck that transports solid waste to and from specified destinations. Truck size is more than 5 tons.

• Operate a residential recycling/solid waste collection truck and ancillary equipment on assigned routes while providing excellent customer service.
• Drive the vehicle from the right side when collecting house‑to‑house using a joystick to control arm and lifting mechanism to grab the collection cart and mechanically raise and dump into the hopper of the side loader.
• Use extra care when near mailboxes, water meters, landscaping, electrical lines, trees, or any other obstructions.
• Prepare, receive, and provide appropriate documentation for delivery and pickup of containers to ensure timely service.
• Load, secure, and unload truck and follow all safety procedures at landfills and transfer stations.
• Maintain radio or telephone communications with dispatcher and supervisor to receive instructions or notice of changes concerning deliveries or pickups.
• Maintain route sheets, vehicle inspection records, and follow all federal and state DOT regulations.
• Deliver solid waste/recyclable to designated disposal/recycling facility.
• Load solid waste, yard waste, and/or recyclables into the rear or side of the waste collection vehicle.
• Operate equipment to compact waste into the vehicle.
• Operate truck and equipment using prescribed techniques to eliminate driver‑induced mechanical failures.
• Complete pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections and reports daily.
• Communicate vehicle mechanical problems immediately.
• Maintain route quality, safety, and service standards.
• Maintain clean vehicle interior and exterior.
• Identify and tag prohibited waste items and remove.
• Responsible for completing daily pre‑ and post‑trip inspections.
• Comply with all mandatory safety meetings & briefings, operational standards & policies, and maintain a valid Texas CDL and DOT medical card.
• Report all safety and service incidents to the supervisor immediately.

• At least 3 years of satisfactory driving experience of Class A or B vehicles preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to deal professionally with customers, dispatchers, mechanics, and other drivers.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Excellent driving skills.
• Basic computer skills: use of tablets and applications.
• Pass drug screen and criminal background check.
• Successfully complete and pass a written and road test.
• Meet all Federal & State DOT requirements.

• Must be able to pass a DOT physical.
• Must be able to climb into and out of the truck several times per day using 3 points of contact.
• Must be able to sit for long periods as well as walk for short periods.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, crawl, and squat to inspect the underside of the truck and tires for adequate inflation and potential damage.
• Must be able to work outside for short periods in all types of weather.
• Must be able to see and hear proficiently to operate a commercial motor vehicle safely.
• Must be able to work in a moderately noisy environment.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

• Possess a valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License.

Safety boots, uniforms, and all PPE are provided by the company.
