CDL-A Grads - Eastern Regional Truck Driver

365 Freight USA is hiring recent CDL-A graduates for Eastern Regional truck driver positions. This paid trainee program is designed for drivers who have earned their license and want structured, on-the-job experience under the guidance of an experienced mentor, with a clear path to solo status.

Training and Path to Solo4-week paid mentorship, working one-on-one with an experienced mentor

Structured curriculum covering trip planning, safe vehicle operation, hours-of-service compliance, time management, and customer service

Formal evaluation milestones and recognition for top performers

Assigned late-model, technology-enabled tractor once you upgrade to solo status

Option to transfer to dedicated or regional lanes within approximately nine months, subject to performance and business needs

Compensation

Solo pay after upgrade: $0.55 per mile, with weekly mileage typically averaging 2,500 miles ($1,375 to $1,550 per week)
Safety and performance bonuses $1,000 sign-on bonus payable after upgrade $500 performance bonus at 90 days post-upgrade

Mileage pay increases at 3, 6, and 12 months following training completionCDL school tuition reimbursement up to $5,000 (terms and eligibility apply)

Responsibilities

Operate commercial motor vehicles safely and in accordance with assigned routes and schedules

Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate driver logs Adhere to DOT regulations, company policies, and hours-of-service requirements

Follow mentor instruction during training and demonstrate progressive proficiency to qualify for solo operations

Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and company personnel

Qualifications

Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
No prior over-the-road experience required; recent graduates are encouraged to apply

Acceptable motor vehicle record and ability to meet DOT qualification requirements

Successful completion of required background and Clearinghouse checks

Willingness to learn, adhere to safety standards, and demonstrate professional conduct on the road Trainees and graduates may operate on regional and dedicated lanes. Assignments and home time vary by account and business needs.
