Warehouse Assistant at Southside Market & Barbeque

Southside Market is the oldest BBQ joint in Texas. We have restaurants in Bastrop, Austin, Hutto, Leander, and our headquarters is located at our original location in Elgin. Our Processing department is currently looking for a full‑time Warehouse Assistant. Under the direction of the Director of Plant Operations, the Warehouse Assistant receives, tracks and delivers all warehouse products.

• Driving to and from warehouse to retail outlets in company vehicle.
• Receives and tacks shipments.
• Embarks merchandise in delivery trucks using appropriate tools.
• Tracks and documents exact shipment arrival and departure times.
• Tags and labels merchandise.
• Labels and stocks merchandise according to procedures.
• Prepares all orders for shipment.
• Records and manages all impaired or damaged items.
• Prepares and delivers all restaurant orders per schedule and on time.
• Ensures that the storage areas and warehouse is kept clean and tidy.
• Assists with scheduling equipment maintenance as required.
• Maintains a working knowledge of all warehouse operations.
• Operates warehouse forklift and assists in keeping it in good condition.
• Observes safety and security standards.
