This is an excellent opportunity to join our valued client based in Long Crendon. Working closely with the Buyer, you'll play an integral role in supporting the purchasing function, ensuring that Purchase Orders and related administrative processes are completed accurately and efficiently.

This role would suit a highly organised individual who enjoys working independently, takes ownership of their workload, and thrives in a structured administrative environment where accuracy is key.

Following an initial training period, a hybrid working pattern is available. Due to our client's location, candidates should have access to their own transport.

Key Responsibilities

Raising Purchase Orders (POs)
Updating and amending PO numbers and pricing information
Following up on Purchase Orders to ensure timely delivery of materials
Supporting inventory planning requirements
Assisting with supplier reporting and data analysis
Resolving PO-related queries from internal departments, including Finance
Providing administrative support to the Buyer and Purchasing function
Supporting stocktake activities when required
Maintaining accurate records and system data

What We're Looking For

Proven experience raising and managing Purchase Orders
Strong administrative and organisational skills
Excellent attention to detail
Confident using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Strong communication skills and a proactive approach

Experience with in manufacturing, production, supply chain, or purchasing environments would be advantageous
