Administrator - Mortgage Litigation

Lightfoots Solicitors is seeking an Administrator to join its Mortgage Litigation team. This is an administrative role supporting the team's Fee Earners. You'll manage your own caseload of administrative tasks under the guidance of a manager and/or solicitor, providing comprehensive administrative and legal support to the team. This is an office based position in Thame, Oxfordshire.

• Open and maintain electronic case files, keeping them organised by actioning workflow entries and processing client instructions.
• Manage your own allocation of files, referring all non‑standard, complex or technical matters to a manager or solicitor as appropriate.
• Review Land Registry Office Copies.
• Prepare routine legal documents using templates from our case management system.
• Prepare, file and serve Court bundles.
• Support Fee Earners with the day‑to‑day management of files.
• Prepare invoices and ensure all fees are accounted for.
• Process incoming correspondence, court notifications and client instructions through the case management system.

• Previous experience in an administrative position.
• Experience in a professional services environment is preferred, or alternatively a regulated administrative role involving case or file handling to strict deadlines.

• Solid written and verbal communication skills.
