As Head of Procurement - IT and Professional Services, your primary responsibility will be to make sure you and the team secure the best value services for Travelodge, ensuring they consistently meet our required quality standards and are fit for their intended purpose.

You’ll build strong internal customer partnerships, create a more capable, simpler, flexible and more agile commercial sourcing process and learn and earn more with our colleagues and suppliers. Working closely with our Head of Supplier Relationship Management you’ll seek to optimise supplier performance and leverage innovation in order to drive ongoing operational and supply chain excellence and sustainable value creation.

In addition, you will continue to enhance our existing category strategies, plans, and pipeline, establishing success metrics and taking commercial ownership to develop, negotiate, and agree upon necessary contractual arrangements, KPIs, and SLAs with all stakeholders. Furthermore, you will optimise the utilisation of all eProcurement tools and repositories to ensure effective document retention, knowledge management, the capture of lessons learned, and continuous improvement.

Who will this appeal to?

You will be an experienced Head of Procurement with a proven track record in IT and professional services, preferably with a degree or equivalent education and significant experience in the IT procurement space.

You will be an agile, strategic thinker, be articulate, clear and concise in communicating with colleagues and suppliers, demonstrating strong leadership and problem solving skills.
