Manpower Recruitment are looking for a Full‑time Permanent Pastry Chef De Partie for an established restaurant based in Chinnor, Oxfordshire.

This is a Full‑time role, working 5 out of 7 days with flexibility for weekends, evenings, and mornings. The role pays £32,000 pa plus a service charge (up to £3,000 per year). Ideal experience comes from a Michelin‑star setting or Rosette.

• No Monday working as the restaurant is closed
• Allocated one extra evening off per week
• Split shifts required between shifts
• Live‑in options available for a small fee

• Preparation of different types of dough, batters, fillings, and creams.
• Judging the quantity and quality of ingredients needed for pastries, cakes, and desserts.
• Decorating and plating desserts according to appropriate designs and standards.
• Maintaining cleanliness, safety, and hygiene in the pastry kitchen.
• Coordinating with the head pastry chef to receive instructions and organise the work process.
• Monitoring the inventory and ensuring the availability of necessary ingredients and equipment’s.
• Updating menus and suggesting new pastry items to attract customers.
• Training and supervising junior pastry cooks, and delegating tasks to them.
• Observing and following the established recipes and procedures to maintain consistency in the product quality.
