Warehouse Operative

We are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a well-established manufacturing and distribution business. This is a varied, hands-on role covering goods in, order picking, dispatch, and general warehouse operations.

Duties will include:

Receiving, breaking down, and allocating 'Goods In'
Storing products efficiently using warehouse racking
Picking and preparing customer orders and completing paperwork
Dispatching goods and coordinating with couriers/transport companies
Handling customer collections (including cash/cheques to the office)
Routine warehouse housekeeping and site maintenance
Assisting with stock checks
Operational maintenance of site equipment
Ensuring safe storage practices and contributing to a clean working environment
Forklift driving - training will be provided You will need to have:

Previous warehouse experience
Counterbalance licence (expired licences will be refreshed with training provided)
Good attention to detail and organisation
Basic IT skills (Excel essential)
Reliable, team player with a strong work ethic

Hours of work are:

Monday to Thursday, 8:00am to 4:45pm and Friday, 8:00am to 2:30pm (39 hours per week)
