Accountant, Accounting Manager, Financial Reporting

This is a 44 year old family business. We manufacture inorganic chemicals and have a plant in Ambernath. We are looking for a person to join our Accounts Department.

The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, and conducting cyclical audits. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen.

Responsibilities
Take responsibility of accounts of the business
Ensure sales, purchase, bank entries are upto date in the accounting software
Create ad-hoc reports for various business needs
Compile and analyze financial statements; assist in financial audits
Ensure legal compliances like TDS, GST, PT etc. are on time
Work with management in cost management
Install processes for accounts in the business

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals
Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Minimum years of accounting/finance experience

Experience with accounting software Tally
Thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation
Highly detail-oriented
