Role Summary
We are hiring an Academic Coordinator – Admissions & Follow-Ups to support our counseling team. This is a core execution role, not a field sales or marketing position.
The primary responsibility is candidate follow-ups, video counseling coordination, CRM updates, reminders, and admissions support. If you are comfortable speaking to students daily, managing multiple follow-ups, and working inside a CRM system, this role is for you.
This is a full-time onsite role in Thane. Remote candidates should not apply.

Core Responsibilities (What You’ll Actually Do)

Candidate Follow-Ups (Primary Responsibility)

• Perform daily follow-ups with prospective students via calls, Whats App, and email

• Track student interest levels and move candidates forward in the admission funnel

• Handle objections, clarify doubts, and maintain consistent communication

Video Counseling Coordination

• Schedule and conduct video counseling sessions with students

• Explain course structure, eligibility, timelines, and next steps

• Coordinate with senior counselors for closures when required

CRM & Data Management

• Update all interactions, follow-ups, reminders, and outcomes in the CRM

• Maintain clean, accurate, and real-time student records

• Set reminders and ensure no lead is missed

Admissions Process Support

• Guide students through application steps and documentation

• Coordinate fees, enrollment confirmation, and onboarding steps

• Act as the single point of contact for students during pre-admission

Reporting & Daily Tracking

• Maintain daily follow-up and call reports

• Share status updates on warm, hot, and closed leads

• Support the team with admission conversion tracking

Ideal Candidate Profile

Must Have

• 1+ year experience in EdTech admissions, academic coordination, inside sales, or counseling support

Strong communication skills (English + Hindi)

• Comfortable with calling, follow-ups, and video counseling

Hands-on experience using CRM systems, Excel, or Google Sheets

• Ability to work from office in Thane

Good to Have

• Experience in analytics, IT, or professional training institutes

• Familiarity with Zoom / Google Meet counseling calls

Who This Role Is NOT For

• Pure marketing, HR, or field sales profiles

• Freshers without calling or follow-up experience
