Role Description The Admissions Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Thane. This role involves guiding prospective students and their families through the admissions process, from initial inquiry to enrollment. The Admissions Counselor will conduct information sessions, respond to phone, email, and in-person queries, and provide clear, accurate details about programs, eligibility, fees, and career outcomes. The role includes engaging with schools, colleges, and coaching centers for outreach, following up on leads, and meeting enrollment targets through ethical and transparent counseling.
The Admissions Counselor will maintain accurate records in the admissions system, coordinate with faculty and administrative teams to support admission-related events, and contribute to initiatives that enhance the applicant experience and promote the institute's mission.
Location - Thane
CTC Offered - up-to 50k plus incentive
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills to engage with students, families, and academic partners effectively.
- Customer Service and Sales skills to manage inquiries, build relationships, and support enrollment goals in a consultative and student-centered manner.
- Background or interest in Education to understand academic programs, career pathways, and the needs of aspiring entrepreneurs.
- Ability to work with targets, manage multiple leads, and maintain accurate documentation and follow-ups.
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline; a focus in Education, Business, or related fields is an advantage.
- Comfort with using CRM tools, spreadsheets, and basic office software for admissions tracking and reporting.
- Strong listening skills, cultural sensitivity, and a commitment to providing equal and fair guidance to all applicants.
- Prior experience in admissions, counseling, sales, or student-facing roles is preferred but not mandatory.
