Role

Description:

Define, assess, and maintain application security architecture by aligning design, controls, and implementation with organizational security requirements, regulatory standards, and evolving threat landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

- Evaluation, development, and implementation of security standards, procedures, and guidelines across multiple platforms and diverse application environments.
- Provide administrative and technical assistance in managing information security, including developing, monitoring, and enforcing security practices in applications.
- Manage application risk assessments.
- Manage data privacy assessments during application development.
- Manage VAPT activities for applications, including management presentations.
- Conduct technical training sessions for developers and technology teams.
- Manage secure code review assessments.

Technical Experience

Must-Have Skills

- Programming languages such as .NET and Java
- Application and infrastructure risk assessment
- Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA)
- Risk methodology
- VAPT for Web Applications, APIs, Mobile Applications, and Thick Clients

Good-to-Have Skills

- Cloud security (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Virtualization concepts
- PCI DSS
- Dev Sec Ops
- Web Socket
- RBI and SEBI guidelines

Consulting experience

- Knowledge of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework
- Working knowledge of industry standards such as OWASP and SANS
- Working knowledge of secure code review and cloud security

Professional Attributes

- Quick learner, team player, and self-starter
- Strong articulation and presentation skills
- Vendor management experience

Minimum Education al Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems Management, or an equivalent field
