Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate daily materials planning and scheduling activities.
Ensure availability of materials to meet project timelines.
Analyze demand forecasts and translate them into material requirements.
Monitor inventory levels and maintain optimal stock to balance cost and service levels.
Collaborate with procurement teams to expedite or adjust purchase orders.
Track material shortages and implement corrective actions.
Develop and maintain material planning systems, reports, and KPIs.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and resolve supply issues.
Support continuous improvement initiatives in supply chain and inventory management.
Train and guide junior planners or coordinators as needed.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Material availability rate
Inventory turnover ratio
Stock-out frequency
On-time delivery performance
Forecast accuracy
