Key Responsibilities
Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers for raw material procurement in line with company standards.
Source materials at competitive prices while ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships; lead commercial negotiations and finalize contracts.
Monitor supplier performance (quality, delivery, cost) and implement corrective actions when required.
Conduct market analysis to track price trends, availability, and mitigate supply risks.
Ensure continuity of supply through strategic sourcing and vendor development.
Work closely with internal teams (Production, QA, Planning) for seamless procurement operations.
Identify and source suppliers from Indian Railways Vendor Directory where approved vendor conditions apply.

Knowledge of steel grades and raw material procurement
