Manager- Research

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Research to manage our primary research initiatives. The ideal candidate will hold a PhD (but not necessary) and possess the ability to independently design, conduct, and analyze primary research to validate hypotheses developed within the company. This role is critical to advancing our research agenda and driving knowledge leadership.

Role & Responsibilities:
Research Leadership
- Independently manage the research process from hypothesis generation to data collection and analysis.
Lead the design and execution of primary/secondary research studies to validate hypotheses.
Work with third party research and other service providers to complete projects.
Develop and implement research methodologies and protocols.
Work closely with consultants, marketing team and other stakeholders to align research activities with organizational goals.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to derive meaningful conclusions.
Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and publications to communicate research findings.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of research data.

Required Competencies:

Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Excel; statistical software; both quantitative and qualitative research tools.
Independent and self-motivated with the ability to drive projects to completion.
Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.

Required Experience:

Minimum of 8 years or 3 years post PHD of experience in primary research, with a proven track record of managing independent research projects.
Or Assistant/Associate Professors with PhDs with experience in teaching research methodology/market research/statistics/quantitative techniques/ operational research/economics.
Experience in designing and implementing research methodologies and protocols.

Qualification:

MBA or Maters in Statistics, Economics, Data science, Finance etc.
Ideally with PhD in Economics/ Finance/ Management but not mandatory.

Monday to Friday, work from office (Thane location).
