Are you a Psychology graduate looking to build meaningful experience supporting children with additional needs?

A progressive and inclusive SEN and SEMH school in Thatcham is seeking a motivated Psychology Graduate Support Assistant to join their team. You will work with children and young people who present with Autism, ADHD, anxiety, trauma, and behavioural needs.

This role is particularly suited to graduates considering careers in Clinical Psychology, Educational Psychology, Counselling, Youth Work, or Teaching.

  Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm

• Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions
• Support behaviour and emotional regulation strategies
• Assist with classroom engagement and academic progress
• Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils
• Work collaboratively with teachers and mental health professionals

This position provides essential experience in safeguarding, behaviour management, and therapeutic approaches within education. It is a fantastic foundation for further training or postgraduate study.
