The Role The successful HLTA will have a varied and rewarding role, including:
Delivering targeted interventions during the morning Providing PPA cover during the afternoon Leading classes independently across Years 36 Planning and delivering engaging lessons Supporting pupils to make progress academically and socially Managing classroom behaviour confidently and positively Working closely with teachers and the wider school team We're Looking For We're looking for an experienced HLTA or highly experienced Teaching Assistant who:
Has strong experience working within a primary school setting Is confident leading whole classes independently Has experience across Key Stage 2 , particularly Years 36 Can confidently manage classroom behaviour Is adaptable and able to deliver a range of interventions Has excellent communication and organisational skills Is reliable, enthusiastic and committed to supporting pupils QTS is not required , but you must have strong classroom experience and be confident leading lessons independently.
