CV Screen is recruiting for an excellent opportunity for a Finance Manager to join an established legal practice based near Maidenhead. Offering a salary of £55,000 plus excellent benefits
, this predominantly office-based position will take responsibility for the day-to-day finance function alongside an Accounts Assistant. You will oversee financial reporting, billing, accounting and compliance, whilst providing valuable financial insight to senior stakeholders. The successful candidate will join a professional and collaborative legal environment, playing a key role in maintaining strong financial controls and supporting the continued success of the practice.

Hybrid working may be available following probation.

Key Points:

• Established legal practice
• Senior finance position with broad responsibilities
• Opportunity to work closely with Partners and senior stakeholders

• Oversee billing, credit control, accounts payable/receivable and accurate financial records.
• Prepare management information, financial reports, journals, reconciliations and VAT returns.
• Monitor budgets, cash flow, payroll and statutory payments, ensuring robust financial controls.
• Coordinate SAR audits and liaise with banks, HMRC and external auditors.
• Support compliance across SRA, AML, GDPR and KYC requirements, including professional indemnity insurance.

• Proven finance experience within the legal sector or professional services environment

• Strong understanding of legal finance and regulatory requirements, including SRA and AML.
• Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to advise Partners and senior stakeholders.
