Principal Planning Officer
Maidenhead | Hybrid (mainly remote)
Up to £61ph (umbrella)
3-month contract
Role overview: I'm working with a council in Maidenhead who need a Principal Planning Officer to come in on an interim basis.
Responsibilities:
- Help the Team Manager keep things ticking over – dealing with a mix of applications (including majors), supporting the wider team, and stepping in where needed.
- Attend planning committees (fortnightly).
- Attend site visits and meetings as required.
The role is mostly remote, with occasional office attendance (ideally once a week, but flexible).
