A specialist school in Thatcham is offering an exciting opportunity for a Mental Health Assistant – Aspiring Therapist who is keen to develop therapeutic skills while supporting pupils with Autism, SEMH needs, anxiety, and trauma-related behaviours.

In Mental Health Assistant – Aspiring Therapist this role, you’ll help students develop coping strategies, emotional awareness, and resilience within a nurturing and structured environment. You’ll support learning engagement, assist with emotional regulation, and build strong, trusting relationships with pupils who need consistency and understanding.
