What You Will Be Doing

As a Healthcare Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting and empowering service users through a seamless, integrated recovery and rehabilitation pathway that truly transforms lives.

• Providing compassionate, person-centred care to individuals at every stage of their recovery
• Supporting ward rounds and observing behaviours to help shape responsive care plans
• Assisting with everyday tasks, including personal care, to promote dignity and independence
• Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic, tailored support

Thornford Park is a 141 bed hospital set within 21 acres of Berkshire countryside, offering a seamless care pathway across medium and low secure services, psychiatric intensive care units (PICUs), and rehabilitation flats. The site supports men and women with complex Mental Health needs, Personality Disorders, Learning Disabilities, and Autism - often with histories of offending or previous placement challenges.

• Medium & Low Secure Units for acute and long-term care

• Specialist Learning Disability & Autism Pathways with integrated secure settings and step-down flats
