I am working with a regionally respected, forward thinking law firm with a top tier Legal 500 ranked commercial property practice. The firm has an excellent reputation across the Thames Valley and is known for delivering high quality, commercially focused advice to a broad client base of businesses and individuals.
They are now looking to appoint an experienced Real Estate Lawyer to join their established commercial property team, with flexibility on office location across the Thames Valley.
The roleThis is a permanent opportunity offering exposure to a wide range of high quality commercial property work within a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key responsibilities- Advising on acquisitions and disposals of commercial property
- Managing commercial lease matters including grants, renewals, assignments and portfolio management
- Handling options, conditional contracts, pre emption and promotion agreements
- Acting on secured lending transactions, including development and site assembly work
- Supporting the property aspects of corporate asset and share sales and acquisitions
- Managing your own varied caseload with autonomy
- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships and contributing to business development
- 5+ years PQE in commercial property
- Strong technical expertise across a broad range of commercial property transactions
- Commercially minded with excellent client facing skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident team player with the ability to support and develop others
- Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
