Job Description
Caretaker - Thatcham | £26,000 - £27,500
We're looking for a reliable, hands‑on Caretaker / Maintenance Assistant to join a busy estates team, playing a key role in keeping the site safe, secure and running smoothly day‑to‑day. This is a varied, practical role with real responsibility and no two days the same.

- Option 1: 1:30pm – 9:00pm
- Option 2 (rota):
Week 1: 1:30pm – 9:00pm | Week 2: 10:30am – 6:00pm
- General maintenance and minor repairs
- Opening/closing the site
- Daily pool testing
- Site security checks and CCTV monitoring
- Act as Fire Officer
- Support events, set‑ups and site logistics
- Respond to out‑of‑hours/emergency issues
- Caretaker/maintenance experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Practical, proactive and able to work independently
- Strong awareness of health & safety
- Flexible with hours (including on‑call when needed)
