CNC Turner – Permanent & Contract available – Motorsport
We have CNC Turning roles based in Thatcham, Berkshire for a prestigious motor sport client currently expanding.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate and run CNC machines to produce transmission components.
- Work with complex components, adhering to GD&T requirements.
- Apply general tool pathways & ISO Fanuc G‑codes; use macros and probing programming as needed.
- Follow Quality Control procedures, document plans.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a CNC Turner.
- Completed formal apprenticeship and general engineering experience including turning and toolmaking.
- Knowledge of GD&T, ISO Fanuc G‑codes; macros and probing programming advantageous.
- Experience in automotive, aerospace or motor sport industries preferred.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and visualize finished products.
- Good concentration, ability to work unsupervised and as a team member.
Shift
Schedule:
- Weekend day shift:
Friday – Sunday, 06:00 – 18:30. - Night shift:
Monday – Thursday, 19:00 – 06:00.
