WF Tech is recruiting on behalf of a world‑renowned manufacturer of high‑performance transmission systems for motor sport, automotive and advanced engineering applications. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CAD/CAM Offline Programmer to join a highly skilled manufacturing team on an initial6‑month contract.

Working within a fast‑paced precision engineering environment, you will be responsible for creating and optimising CNC programs for Okuma lathes using Edgecam, helping deliver complex, high‑precision components to demanding quality and delivery standards.

• Produce and optimise offline CNC programs using Edgecam
• Generate efficient machining strategies for Okuma turning centres
• Work closely with Manufacturing Engineers and Machinists to improve cycle times and maximise productivity
• Modify and prove‑out existing programs where required
• Ensure all programs meet quality, tooling and production requirements
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing department

• Proven experience as a CAD/CAM Offline Programmer
• Strong knowledge of Edgecam
• Experience programming Okuma lathes
• A solid understanding of precision machining and CNC turning processes
• The ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and CAD models
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
• Previous experience within precision engineering, motor sport, aerospace or similar high‑specification manufacturing would be advantageous
