LNS Recruitment is looking for a motivated and hardworking Trainee Quarry Worker to join a growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the quarrying, aggregates and recycling industry. No previous quarrying experience is required, as full training and support will be provided.
You will gain valuable hands-on experience working alongside experienced operators, learning how to operate plant and machinery, assist with maintenance and understand the production of quality recycled and primary aggregate products.
The Role- Assisting with the maintenance of washplant equipment and mobile plant.
- Learning to safely operate quarrying and mobile plant machinery.
- Assisting with the day-to-day operation of the quarry and processing plant.
- Learning about the production of recycled and primary aggregate products.
- Carrying out general site duties and keeping the working environment clean and organised.
- Working alongside experienced members of the team to develop practical plant operation and engineering skills.
- Following all company health and safety procedures.

- Is comfortable working outdoors in a physically demanding environment.
- Has a genuine interest in quarrying, engineering, plant or machinery.
- Can work well as part of a team.

Previous quarrying experience is not essential - full training will be provided.
