Lead Nurse

As a Lead Nurse you will provide senior visible clinical leadership to the hospital wide nursing team. You will promote and safeguard the well-being and interests of all service users, employees and visitors.

You will ensure that standards of patient care are always maintained within the parameters of operational policies and governing legislation. You will be a line manager to some of the experienced ward managers within the hospital, supporting with the day-to-day management of the nursing department. You will play a fundamental part in maintaining high standards and developing the service to reach its full potential.

As a senior member of the nursing team, you will have experience within a similar setting from the NHS and/or Private Care. You will lead and guide a team of nurses to provide exceptional care. You will be supported by the Director of Nursing who will be your line manager in this role. It's a career that you can take pride in and enjoy. Main duties of the job As a Lead Nurse at Elysium Healthcare, you will be a senior member of the nursing team with responsibilities of providing visible clinical leadership across the hospital.

Your role will include promoting and safeguarding the well-being of service users, employees, and visitors while ensuring patient care standards are maintained. This position requires extensive experience in similar settings within the NHS or Private Care and includes participation in senior on call arrangements. Part of your role will be formulating and presenting updates that will be required through the hospitals governance processes.

You will be responsible to manage resources, supervise senior nurses and form and integral part of the clinical structure in maintaining and developing high standards of care.
