Warehouse Operative – Christmas Temps

Overview

Our Distribution team is looking for Warehouse Operatives to join the Thatcham site for the Christmas peak. These temporary roles run for two months and offer a collaborative, fast-paced environment supporting high-seaso n stock movement for Harrods customers.

• Warehouse Operative: receiving, checking, sorting, and relocating stock using manual and mechanical methods.
• Picking, packing, and dispatching orders accurately while operating warehouse equipment safely.
• Performing stock checks and maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
• Site Services: supporting the recycling programme by sorting and processing waste.
• Handling pallets, including unloading, stacking, repairing, and loading onto trailers.
• Maintaining warehouse and yard cleanliness using appropriate equipment.
• All roles are based at the Distribution Centre, a modern, clean, and welcoming facility designed to support an efficient and collaborative working environment.
• Roles are hands-on and physically active, involving standing, walking long distances, and safely lifting and moving products up to 23 kg. On average, you may complete around 20,000 steps a day.
• Departments include:
  Packing Ops, PSD/Repack, Returns, .COM Admin, Site Services, Warehousing, GMP.
