About the Role

The Commercial Service & Maintenance Business Development role is responsible for expanding Gold Medal Pools’ commercial, HOA, and multifamily maintenance business throughout the DFW market. This position focuses on identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities while maintaining strong, long‑term relationships with property managers, ownership groups, developers, and facility managers. The role combines relationship‑based selling, market research, and strategic outreach to drive recurring maintenance contracts and revenue‑generating project opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within commercial, HOA, and multifamily maintenance markets.
  • Research and target potential clients including property managers, developers, and facility decision‑makers.
  • Conduct outreach through calls, emails, site visits, and introductions to generate meetings.
  • Get Gold Medal Pools added to preferred vendor and bid lists where applicable.
  • Collaborate with estimating and operations teams to prepare and deliver proposals and presentations.
  • Attend networking events, trade shows, and association meetings (CAI, BOMA, IREM, AAGD, IFMA) to generate leads and represent the company.
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach, meetings, and results in CRM software.
  • Build and maintain long‑term relationships with key clients and decision‑makers.
  • Assist in scheduling customer meetups, lunch‑and‑learns, and introductions for ownership and estimating teams.
  • Follow up on completed projects to ensure client satisfaction and uncover future opportunities.
  • Represent Gold Medal Pools professionally at all industry events and client engagements.
  • Research competitors, market trends, and pricing data to strengthen positioning.
  • Gather bid tabs and insights to evaluate competition and inform strategy.
  • Identify “trophy” properties and strategic accounts within the DFW market.
  • Provide leadership with ongoing updates on market conditions, customer feedback, and opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure proposals, projects, and client transitions are handled efficiently.
  • Support marketing initiatives and outreach campaigns.
  • Track and report on sales activity, pipeline progress, and results weekly and monthly.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.

Required Skills
  • 3–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management (preferably in commercial services, construction, or facility management).
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, client relationship management, and CRM systems.
  • Excellent communication, networking, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to meet goals, manage multiple priorities, and build long‑term relationships.
