Position Summary

An Andretti Game Tech is a part‑time role responsible for anticipating guest needs, exceeding guest service expectations while providing a fun and exciting atmosphere. All positions are responsible for assisting guests in various areas in many capacities, following Andretti Indoor Karting and Games high standards of quality Guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome visitors by greeting them in a friendly and positive manner.
  • Anticipate and respond to guests in a friendly and positive manner with a sense of urgency.
  • Perform repairs on games and explain operation of games to guests.
  • Maintain continued inventory of electronics, game parts, tools, etc.
  • Properly document game issues, parts and work history.
  • Be able to work alone and be self‑starter.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all aspects of the games, simulators and attractions.
  • Possess comfort with AV systems including movie sound, mobile video, projectors and control systems.
  • Use/read a volt/ohmmeter and a soldering gun.
  • Read schematics.
  • Stock and maintain inventory of all prize games.
  • Basic knowledge of computer systems and some general point of sale operations.
  • Rudimentary knowledge of troubleshooting computer hardware and computer peripherals.
  • Ensure all games are clean and presentable to guests.
  • Observe, instruct and monitor guests for safety and guideline adherence.
  • Assist with guest recovery and notify manager to ensure positive guest experiences.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally while interacting enthusiastically with guests and fellow co‑workers.
  • Work as a team player in meeting guests’ needs, and actively contribute to the efforts of other departments.
  • Attend all required department and company meetings and training sessions.
  • Maintain a clean work area in compliance with Andretti Indoor Karting & Games policies and procedures.
  • Be knowledgeable of facility emergency procedures.
  • Perform opening, running and closing department duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to proper uniform guidelines according to Andretti Indoor Karting & Games.
  • Display excellent communication skills.
  • Show eagerness to learn new skills and trades.
Skills & Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • The desire and ability to be pleasant, upbeat and sociable throughout the workday.
  • Be able to work a varied schedule, including days, nights, holidays and weekends.
Physical Requirements

  • Walk or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Be able to lift up to 15 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
  • Perform functions that require organization, bending, reaching, turning, lifting, climbing and occasional stocking up to 50 lbs.
  • Possess the ability to communicate quickly and accurately.
  • Work environment may include bright, dim or flashing lights and loud sounds.
  • Require manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
  • Be able to understand, follow and maintain safety standards at all times.
