Teller - Part Time
Credit Union of Texas is inviting experienced cashiers to join our team as a Part‑time Teller. The focus is on providing exceptional service to Members while safeguarding the integrity of our financial operations.
Position Purpose and ObjectivesAs a Teller you will process accurate transactions, identify Member financial needs, and recommend suitable credit union products. You will represent Credit Union of Texas’s vision of caring, understanding, teaching and exceeding expectations, delivering an unexpected experience in every interaction.
Major Duties And Essential Functions- Demonstrate enthusiastic support of Credit Union of Texas’s vision, core values, employee creed and long‑term objectives.
- Process share account and checking account deposits and withdrawals, loan/lease payments, credit card payments, and negotiable instruments.
- Negotiate check cashing transactions and process credit card cash advances.
- Identify Member financial needs and recommend appropriate credit union product/service solutions.
- Meet or exceed sales and service goals established by leadership.
- Exercise due diligence by placing appropriate holds on checks deposited in accordance with Regulation CC and CUTX Funds Availability Policy.
- Perform job duties within internal and external service standards, complying with Bank Secrecy Act, Anti‑Money Laundering, Office of Foreign Assets Control and USA Patriot Act.
- Protect member information by maintaining confidentiality and adhering to the privacy policy.
- Accept responsibility for store security by securing keys, combinations, documents and negotiable items, and complying with robbery and hold‑up procedures.

Education and Experience – Minimum 18 years of age, high school diploma or equivalency and at least 6 months of related experience.
• Physical Activities and Requirements – Finger dexterity, grasping, talking, repetitive motions, average hearing and visual abilities; sedentary work, occasional lifting up to 20 lbs.
• Compliance – All duties are compliant with applicable federal regulations including the Bank Secrecy Act, Anti‑Money Laundering statutes, Office of Foreign Assets Control and the USA PATRIOT Act.
• Credit Check – All prospective candidates are subject to a credit check; credit in good standing is required for eligibility.
