Overnight Caregiver – Bed-Bound Client

Schedule: Saturday, Sunday & Monday | 8:00 PM–8:00 AM
Position: Part-Time | 12-Hour Overnight Shifts

Always Best Care Senior Services is seeking a reliable, experienced, and compassionate caregiver to provide overnight support for a bed-bound client in The Colony area.

The client is living with a terminal illness and needs attentive, hands-on assistance with personal care, comfort, and safety throughout the night. We are looking for someone who has experience providing total care, understands the importance of dignity and compassion, and can remain awake, alert, and attentive for the entire overnight shift.

This is an ongoing part-time opportunity for a caregiver who values consistency and is committed to working every scheduled shift.

The caregiver will assist with the client's personal care needs while promoting comfort, safety, and dignity throughout the overnight hours. Responsibilities may include:

• Repositioning and turning the client approximately every two hours, according to the care plan
• Providing toileting and incontinence care
• Assisting with bathing and personal hygiene
• Helping with feeding and meals when needed
• Changing clothing, bedding, and linens as necessary
• Offering companionship, reassurance, and emotional support
• Monitoring the client's comfort and condition throughout the night
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable care environment
• Documenting care provided during each shift
• Reporting significant changes or concerns to the appropriate care team

Consistent availability for all three overnight shifts is required.

• Saturday: 8:00 PM–8:00 AM
• Sunday: 8:00 PM–8:00 AM
• Monday: 8:00 PM–8:00 AM

Applicants must be able to commit to the full 12-hour shift each scheduled night. Dependability, punctuality, and consistent attendance are essential.

We're seeking a caregiver who is comfortable providing extensive hands-on assistance and understands the needs of clients requiring total care.

Qualified candidates should have:

• Previous professional caregiving experience
• Experience with bed-bound clients; hospice, terminal illness, or total-care experience is strongly preferred
• Comfort assisting with bathing, feeding, toileting, repositioning, and personal hygiene
• The physical ability to safely assist with repositioning and follow proper care procedures
• A patient, compassionate, attentive, and respectful approach
• A strong commitment to reliability and consistent scheduling
• Reliable transportation to and from the client's home
• The ability to remain awake, alert, and responsive throughout the entire overnight shift

This position offers an ongoing 24-hour-per-week schedule for an experienced caregiver seeking dependable part-time work. You'll have the opportunity to provide meaningful support to a client who needs attentive care, comfort, and compassion during the overnight hours.
