• Expert in core Java technologies and frameworks like Spring Boot with a background in C# development
• Proficient in databases and SQL
• Understanding of AWS or other cloud platforms and containerization technologies such as ECS and Docker
• Experience with Apache Kafka
• Experience with asynchronous workers and resilient messaging services such as SNS and SQS (a plus)
• Understanding of microservice architectures and twelve factor app patterns
• Unit and integration test automation using JUnit
• Experience building and deploying applications using continuous integration pipelines and automated deployment tools such as Jenkins
• Terraform or Open Tofu experience (a plus)
• Experience with Salesforce applications (a plus)
• Strong API development background

• A strong foundation in software engineering – bachelor's degree + 6+ years' hands‑on development experience
• Critical thinking skills to build end‑to‑end solutions
• Passionate and committed to learning new things and developing with the latest technologies and frameworks
• Ability to work well in both a small agile team and independently, with a strong user focus
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at a given time
• Experience with Agile development methodologies such as SCRUM, TDD, etc.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to actively engage other team members
• Participation in engineering practices such as code and design reviews, environment strategy, and build and deployment pipeline
• Good understanding of cloud application architecture and microservices model development including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS
• Experience with cloud orchestration/workflow automation and building distributed scalable applications
