Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a qualified ICU RN for a 13‑week travel assignment in The Dalles, Oregon. The role involves providing comprehensive critical care to patients in the intensive care unit.

• At least one year of recent experience as an ICU RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) and ACLS (AHA/ARC) certifications

• Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification
• TNCC, NIHSS certification
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients and respond to changes in condition
• Administer complex medications and treatments per approved critical care nursing techniques
• Operate and manage advanced life‑support equipment
• Ensure patient safety and comfort in a high‑acuity environment
• Record significant conditions, reactions, and interventions, notifying appropriate provider of changes in patient status
• Perform and interpret advanced hemodynamic monitoring, including arterial lines, central venous pressure, and pulmonary artery catheters
• Accurately document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record
• Provide education to patients and families about ICU environment, treatments, and recovery expectations
• Communicate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
• Maintain proficiency in critical care procedures and technologies through ongoing education and training
• Adhere to strict infection control protocols
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency
• Perform other duties as assigned within scope
• Follow hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards

• Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication skills
• Proficient reading, writing, and English language communication
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and proficiency in PC skills
• Physical abilities – stationary position, moving equipment 50‑100 lbs, pushing, pulling, bending
• Interpersonal skills – work effectively with diverse personnel
• Technical/motor skills – fine manipulation and movement during procedures
• Mental resilience – manage high‑pressure environments and irregular activity schedules
• Sensory – visual acuity and effective communication
