Position: Surgical Technologist Role at Springfield OSC
Elevate surgical care as a Surgical Technologist at Springfield Regional Outpatient Surgery Center. This part-time role focuses on the preparation of surgical environments and requires collaboration with a surgical team from Tuesday to Friday.

At Springfield OSC, the Certified Surgical Technologist plays a key part in ensuring patient safety and surgical effectiveness. You will be responsible for preparing the operating rooms, managing surgical instruments, and assisting in procedures. Your strong communication and attention to detail will be critical in this dynamic outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surgical suites and sterile fields for procedures

• Assist during surgeries by providing necessary instruments

• Ensure accurate counts of instruments for safety

• Correctly label and handle specimens

• Aid in the cleaning and sterilization of surgical equipment

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program

• Current CST credential and BLS certification required

• At least 1 year of recent OR experience

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Calm demeanor under pressure and a focus on patient care
