In our Advanced Manufacturing Group, the Building Mechanical team delivers cost‑effective and transformative projects for heavy industrial clients. This role involves field investigations, interfacing with clients & vendors, sizing and selecting HVAC equipment, and preparing construction design packages.
Key Responsibilities- Layout and design of HVAC systems.
- Development of conceptual and preliminary design documents, including calculations for sizing and selection, Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs), Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and general arrangements.
- Creation of final construction documents for systems such as chilled water and cooling water.
- Coordination with other disciplines.
- Accountable for schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks.
- At least ten (10) years’ experience in designing HVAC systems for industrial facilities.
- Proficiency in Revit.
- In-depth knowledge of codes and standards related to HVAC system design.
- Adaptability to work in a fast‑paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
- Ability to collaborate with the project team remotely.
- Software experience in AutoCAD, Carrier HAP, Trane Trace 700, and Trane Trace 3D.
- Experience in designing plumbing/utility systems.
