St. Luke’s Cataract & Laser Institute is looking to hire a full‑time medical receptionist to join our team at the The Villages location. Our mission is “Life Changing Vision”, which we pursue in every aspect of our care—from the moment a patient walks through our doors to the follow‑up care they receive. We are committed to helping our patients attain overall wellness in body, mind, and spirit.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a candidate who is eager to provide exceptional care to our patients in our growing practice. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with the public and has worked in an office environment where a high level of customer service was required. The position requires outstanding interpersonal skills including a pleasant demeanor, positive attitude, tact, diplomacy, patience, and flexibility.

Candidates must also have the ability to interact effectively with patients, doctors, and staff.

• Office experience required; related medical office experience highly preferred
• Strong customer service skills and experience
• Ability to multitask and demonstrate attention to detail
• Ability to read and communicate effectively with patients, peers, supervisors, and team
• Must be mobile in an office environment; frequent standing, sitting, and walking
