This Observation unit differs from the traditional model. We have a 67-bed unit with a fast pace, high patient turnover, and a wide range of patient acuity. It’s a dynamic and rewarding environment, requiring strong clinical skills, adaptability, and stamina.
ResponsibilitiesUnder the direction of the director/charge nurse, the RN utilizes the nursing process, facilitates patient care by making nursing assessments and diagnoses, formulates care plans based on the diagnoses, and implements and evaluates the plan of care.
QualificationsEducation:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher nursing degree
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- Florida Registered Nurse License
- BLS
- NIH Stroke Certification
Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required:
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
