Registered Nurse RN – Spanish Plains Hospital Emergency Department – 13‑Week Assignment – FT Nights

Overview: Under the direction of the director/charge nurse, the RN utilizes the nursing process, facilitates patient care by making nursing assessments and diagnoses, formulates care plans based on the diagnosis, and implements and evaluates the plan of care.

This position will require the RN to float between two of the following Emergency Departments in the UF Health Central Florida locations:
Spanish Plains Hospital ED and Brownwood Freestanding ED.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Diploma / Associates Degree in nursing or higher

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• Florida Registered Nurse License
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• NIH Stroke Scale

Special Skills / Qualifications / Additional Training / Experience

Required:

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
• Must have either 2 years of experience in the ED, or 1 year in ED and 1 in another acute care department
