Under the direction of the director/charge nurse, the RN utilizes the nursing process, facilitates patient care by making nursing assessments and diagnoses, formulates care plans based on the diagnosis, and implements and evaluates the plan of care.
QualificationsEducation
Associate's Degree or higher degree in nursing
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Florida Registered Nurse License
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- NIH
- A minimum of 2 years ED experience, or a minimum of 1 full year in the ED with 1 full year in another hospital care area.
- Experience in the ED should be current, or within 1 year.
- Acceptable experience, in lieu of ED experience: any critical care nursing or paramedic experience on a 1:1 basis.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
