Business Transformation Manager

Compensation: $120K–$165K base salary + bonus

A large, complex organization is looking for a Business Transformation Manager to improve how work gets done across multiple functions. This is a visible, hands‑on role for someone who can step into an unfamiliar process, ask the right questions, bring structure to ambiguity, and help teams make lasting improvements.

The team works much like an internal consulting group. You’ll partner with business and technology leaders on projects involving workflows and systems. Some initiatives will be yours to lead from assessment through implementation; on larger efforts, you’ll own a meaningful part of the work. This is an individual contributor role where you’ll lead through influence. Examples of business processes would be understanding order to cash, purchase to pay, sales inventory operational planning, new product development, etc.

You'll work with the various stakeholders to understand process flows, pain points, bottlenecks and identify and recommend areas for improvement.

• Lead process improvement projects from discovery and root cause analysis through implementation

• Build project plans, track commitments, and keep stakeholders informed
• Partner with business and IT teams on process and system changes
• Support adoption through communication, training, and follow‑through
• Identify opportunities to simplify work through better tools and automation

• Around 7 or more years of experience in business transformation, process improvement, operational excellence, project management, consulting, or a related field
• Experience improving a major end‑to‑end business process, with exposure to more than one process or function
• A track record of taking projects beyond recommendations through implementation
• Strong facilitation and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to influence people you don’t manage
• Sound judgment when priorities shift or the path forward isn’t clear
• The ability to explain complex work clearly to business leaders
• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

Experience with large enterprise systems, consulting or internal transformation teams, and Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or similar methods is helpful.
