Teora Music School – Teacher Position

Teora Music School was established in Tomball, TX in December 2018 as a music school endorsed by the Japanese firm Yamaha. Teora Music School serves the community of The Woodlands, Augusta Pines, Springs, Tomball, and surrounding areas.

We offer music lessons for piano, guitar, drums, singing lessons, violin, bass guitar and more. In addition, we offer music production lessons and services such as composition, music theory, songwriting, recording, mixing, and mastering, as well as rehearsal and recording studio rental.

At Teora Music School, we also offer Music Therapy, employing musical interventions to achieve personalized goals led by a qualified professional. Teora Music School also offers a program specifically designed for preschoolers (Music lessons for preschooler).

We provide a contemporary, professional, and cutting‑edge environment. Our private and semi‑private lessons are equipped with state‑of‑the‑art equipment, ensuring an optimal learning experience. Our greatest desire is for our community to fully experience the benefits and joys that music brings to every individual.

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
• Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Foster effective communication with students and parents regarding progress and concerns.
• Assess student performance through standardized testing and provide tailored support.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and share best practices in early childhood education.
• Promote music education and integrate it into daily activities to enrich the learning experience.
• Keep lesson assignment books (Lessons records) updated.

• Bachelor’s degree in Music or related subject preferred. A minor in Education is a plus or extensive teaching music experience.
• Previous teaching experience with school‑aged children preferred (+ 3 year).
• If you have worked with Yamaha Schools and its programs, it will be a plus.
• If you play multiple instruments, it will be a plus.
• Professional development opportunities with Yamaha Corporation (Piano, Guitar and Drums teachers and only employees).

• Supervision and treatment directly with the owner who is open to listen your suggestions or comments.
• If the students do not attend, teachers still get paid.
• We have a full‑time office staff to assist parents and teachers.
• We have a full‑time marketing person which has allowed to gain students every day.
• Teachers never will collect tuition for the school.
• Teacher do not give out their contact info to parents, all contact goes through the office.
• We provide free snacks and beverages for all our teachers.
• Our school is open Monday through Saturday, however you decide how many days you’d like to work.
