This position will collaborate with team members to primarily design projects that support master-planned communities (such as single-family residential sections, commercial sites, utility extensions, mass grading, drainage/detention facilities or improvements, existing or proposed roadway improvements, etc.). Technical tasks include but not limited to utility design (primarily water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer), roadway design, grading design, drainage design, plan production support, plan submittal/approval coordination, conceptual analyses/exhibits, cost estimations, and quantity take-offs.

Accountability and Duties:

• Designs construction plans utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Follows QA/QC procedures for design and plan production milestones.
• Monitors scopes, budgets, and schedules of assigned projects.
• Assists project managers and/or other project teams as requested.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited four-year college or university. 0-2 years related experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Valid driver’s license

EIT Certification (Preferred)

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Outstanding Interpersonal skills, ability to interact with a variety of people.
• Adaptable and able to respond quickly and accurately under pressure.
• Able to manage tasks/responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be fluent in the English language.
• Available to work nights and weekends to complete projects as necessary.
• Proficient in MS office. AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Bluebeam Revu experience is a plus.
