Webber, LLCPOSITION: BIM Manager (2 open positions)
WORKSITE: 1725 Hughes Landing Blvd, The Woodlands, Texas 77380
JOB DUTIES:
Develop and implement BIM strategies, standards, and protocols for projects. Manage the BIM execution plan and ensure compliance with project requirements. Manage Common Data Environments (CDEs) to maintain a smooth workflow, address model-related issues, and ensure access to the most up-to-date information for effective collaboration. Create BIM models for different BIM platforms. Coordinate and collaborate with project teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients, to ensure effective BIM integration.
Oversee the creation, maintenance, and quality control of BIM models and data. Provide training and support to project teams on BIM tools and processes. Conduct regular BIM coordination meetings and clash detection reviews. Ensure that BIM deliverables meet the required standards and are delivered on time. Stay updated with the latest BIM technologies, trends, and best practices. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement innovative BIM solutions.
Manage and resolve BIM-related issues and challenges that arise during the project lifecycle.
MINIMUM EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or closely related.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
4 years (48 months) of experience with BIM management within the construction industry; BIM 360, ACC or other Common Data Environment, BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD;
