- You will commission and start-up equipment leading to a safe and stable operation of process plants
- Develop and execute commissioning resource strategy, cost estimates, and schedules in support of proposals
- In addition you will develop and execute commissioning safety plan to prevent hazardous conditions for personnel and equipment
- Participate in the review of P&’s and control strategies in view of commissioning, start-up, and operation of process plants
- Prepare deliverables and participate in commissioning and start-up gate reviews
- Develop project commissioning plan, sequencer, and commissioning books to include relevant procedures, guidelines, global best practices, and checklists
- You will work with construction QA/QC to identify and complete pre‑commissioning and commissioning required inspection test reports and checklists for system handover
- Coordinate field activities for sites in pre‑commissioning, commissioning, and start‑up phases, including tracking and coordinating hand over of systems from construction to commissioning and commissioning to operations
- Verify that mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, controls, and safety equipment and systems are mechanically complete
- Also you will lead troubleshooting efforts in support of field activities, interfacing with commissioning managers, construction and engineering to resolve issues encountered
Interface with project managers, engineers, procurement, and subcontracts to schedule internal and external resources needed for commissioning - Lastly you will develop and implement scheduling tool to communicate with internal and external project personnel
- You will have a 4 year B.S. Engineering degree
- Preferably at least 5 years of Commissioning or operational experience in hydrogen solutions, air separation, carbon capture, adsorption, gas processing, deep cryogenics, liquefied natural gas (LNG) and fired process equipment or other relevant large industrial plants
