Estimator II

As an Estimator II, you’ll play a vital role in developing competitive, accurate cost estimates for large-scale, complex civil construction projects. You will:

• Embrace and demonstrate company core values in every facet of the role.
• Analyze owner plans and specifications to fully understand project requirements.
• Create comprehensive construction plans to support cost estimating efforts.
• Produce quality take-offs and detailed estimates for complex jobs.
• Consult internal stakeholders to resolve design, scheduling, and budgeting challenges.
• Present and reconcile estimates with capture teams and clients.
• Attend site visits and project meetings as needed.
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices.

We’re looking for a sharp, detail-oriented professional with:

• 5+ years of estimating experience, preferably on large infrastructure or heavy civil projects.
• An advanced degree in engineering, construction management, or related field — or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and scheduling tools (Primavera P6).
• Experience using HCSS Heavy Bid and CAD is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Experience with AGTEK is a plus.
• Ability to meet critical deadlines, which may occasionally require evening or weekend work.

• Primarily an office-based position with periodic travel to job sites nationwide.
• Must be able to stand/walk job sites for extended periods when required.
• Capable of lifting up to 15 lbs occasionally.
• PPE use required during field visits (hard hat, boots, eye protection, etc.).
