Responsible for the development, planning, execution, and monitoring of projects focused on the turnkey construction of high‑voltage electrical substations, transmission lines and distribution lines.

• Accountable for the cost, schedule, safety, quality and completion of construction projects.
• Coordinate work with Purchasing to ensure that requested material is expedited and received as needed.
• Manage multiple project teams.
• Prepare and maintain cash flows, monthly billing, and change orders for assigned projects.
• Prepare and maintain monthly construction progress reports, re‑projections, files, etc., required for the construction of a project.
• Resolve inter‑group conflicts, project conflicts and delays as required to meet project construction goals.
• Travel out of town for short periods of time as required by projects and assignments.
• Other duties as required.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil Engineering, or equivalent is required. Professional Registration is preferred.

10 years experience in the design, construction, or operations of substations and/or transmission lines is required.

10 years of experience in the supervision/management of budgets and work groups is strongly preferred.

• Demonstrated understanding of substations, substation control and transmission systems.
• Understand financial aspects of project control.
• Interpersonal skills, technical knowledge, organizational ability and leadership talent.
• Experience with MS Office including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Working in a team environment.
• Communicating effectively with co‑workers.
• Willing to travel to project sites as necessary.
