As a Financial Consultant Partner (FCP), you are at the heart of the action, acting as a trusted partner to our Senior Financial Consultants and their practice clients. Your developed expertise helps deepen both new and existing client relationships, uncover business development opportunities, and learn from your Senior FCP along the way. You’ll support the growth and management of an affluent wealth‑management practice, providing exceptional service, advice, and relationship management.
This role is ideal if you are a licensed financial professional with a passion for wealth management and a desire to grow under the mentorship of a seasoned advisor.
- A valid and active Series 7 license (may be obtained under employment through the Branch Network Licensing Program)
- A valid and active Series 66 (or 63/65) license (may be obtained under employment)
- 3+ years of experience in the financial services industry
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively
- Ability to identify new relationship development opportunities
- Openness to build, refresh, and deliver financial plans for practice clients in partnership with your Senior FCP
- Ability to uncover and meet client needs and manage expectations effectively
- Ability to build and maintain strong cross‑enterprise working relationships
- Capability to become a Notary
- Experience updating and compiling client information through Schwab’s internal CRM tool
- Openness to manage local events, as needed
